As thrifters, we sometimes come across an astounding thrifted find. A vintage patchwork quilt for $15.00 or maybe a signed Tasha Tudor book for .25 cents. I find my heart does somersaults when I discover an item like the ones mentioned above. I generally hold the item tightly and pay as quickly as I can in the attempt to hide my shaking hands as I pass the money.
In our Thrift Hall of Fame we want to recognize some of those stellar finds. If you are interested in joining our Hall of Fame, email us and we will consider posting your photo and short summery of where you found it. New thrift Hall of Fame entries will be posted at the beginning of each month.
Thrift Hall of Fame
Vintage Quilt found at the Sebastopol Flea Market. The price was originally $20.00 but while Apron Thrift Girl was thinking about it, the man selling it negotiated himself down to $15.00.
